This September Estée Lauder is set to launch its newest fragrance – Modern Muse, a glamorous scent with notes of jasmine and woods.

The first accord combines a mix of mandarin, tuberose, fresh lily, honeysuckle nectar, dewy petals, jasmine sambac and jasmine sambac China absolute. Two different forms of jasmine are used to create a layered effect that helps the fragrance last longer, kind of like when you use fragrance matching bath wash and lotions. The second woody accord features a mix of patchouli, Madagascar vanilla, amber wood and soft musk.

Modern Muse will retail for $58 (1 oz.), $78 (1.7 oz.), and $98 (3.4 oz.). The matching body lotion and shower gel will launch in October.

An Estée Lauder fragrance has been long over due. Their last major fragrance launch was back in 2003, when they debuted Beyond Paradise.

According to Kors, his grandmother and mother were both inspirations for the line.
