This year for Spring Spa Week, I decided to try out a microdermabrasion treatment. I have a few sunspots on my cheeks that I am trying to get rid of. The treatment left my cheeks red and sensitive; almost like a sun burn, but this is a common reaction. On the first day I applied aloe vera gel and ice to sooth and cool of my skin. The following day I started applying Shiseido Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizing Cream and it really made my skin feel much better. I applied it three times a day and by the end of the week, my skin was back to normal.
This cream kept my skin moisturized and balanced. My skin did not flake and it did not breakout. It is lightly scented and the scent is nice too. This cream is not too thick and I wouldn’t say it’s lightweight either. It’s rich and creamy, but when you put it on it feels light and your skin can breathe. It feels like you have nothing on. It hydrates my skin and it’s a great product for your night-time regimen since it does not contain SPF. I might go back to it during the winter months when my face needs a little extra hydration.
Shiseido Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizing Cream 50 ml / 1.7 oz. $ 75 also available at Sephora.com
