Wild Thing, you make my heart sing oh you make a every – okay okay – I’ll stop with the annoying off pitch singing! It’s just that I get so excited when Hello Kitty brings us grown up items! The Hello Kitty Wild Thing Makeup Palette features 12 eyeshadows, 1 Pen Pal Eyeliner in Black, and a super cute compact mirror all housed together in an adorable black and gold zebra print collectable tin. The eye shadows are all highly pigmented and the eyeliner is very similar to the Nars Eyeliner Stylo pens. The second row is my favorite eyeshadow combo, but you can create endless looks with this palette because all the color compliment each other well. The mini compact mirror lives in my purse and I always get compliments on it!

If you’re a fan of Urban Decay’s Naked Eyeshadow Palette, then you will love their new Smoked Eyeshadow Palette. It includes everything you need to create the perfect Urban Decay smoky eye. This palette has a combination of neutrals, jewel tones, and dark shades; with a mix of matte and shimmer finishes. The shades in the palette are: Kinky, Freestyle, Mushroom, Backdoor, Blackout, Barlust, Rockstar, Evidence, Loaded, and Asphalt. I just love creative makeup names, Urban Decay and Nars names or my favorites! The kit also includes a 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in Perversion and a travel size Eyeshadow Primer Potion and it all comes in a zippered mirrored case.
In need of look ideas? Urban Decay has got you covered! The kit features a step-by-step guide to 12 smoky eye looks, written by Urban Decay Founder Wende Zomnir.
This palette looks very promising, I am a huge fan of jewel tone smoky eyes, there is just something so sexy and mysterious about them.

Blinc Eyeliner
Blinc Eyeliner is a liquid liner that does not rub off and can easily be removed with just water. This is great for those who have sensitivities to makeup removers. The black eyeliner goes on very crisp and bold. It took a while to dry because my first application was heavy, since I forgot to wipe of the excess on the rim. Once dried, it was pretty permanent and did not budge. The brush is very thin and long, I was able to work well with it. Personally, I prefer a felt tip like the L’Oreal Felt Tip Eyeliner or an actual brush. I think this eyeliner may be difficult for beginners to master, since the the brush is extremely flexible. Removal was simple, all I did was wipe it off with a tissue dipped in some warm water.

Avon SuperSHOCK Eye Liner is their new gel liner. I decided to try Metallic Teal and Burnished Copper. The colors are pretty, but not as pigmented as I hoped they would be. It goes on faint and streaky. I had to really work with the product and pack it on to achieve my line. It doesn’t look too bad once you work hard at it, but I would prefer to spend the money and get the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner instead. With Bobbi’s one swipe and you’re done!

I did like using Burnished Copper as an eyeshadow. The color looks great with my skin tone and I can definitely play it up for summer. I applied it over my Urban Decay primer, for added staying power.

Avon SuperSHOCK Eye Liner $7 (currently on BOGO sale)
