Lip Scrub Recipe

If you’re not exfoliating your lips – you should be!  Exfoliating helps smooth out chapped and bumpy lips. It also helps increase circulation, which makes your lips look  plump and fuller. Follow these steps for sexier lips!

Easy Lip Scrub Recipe

  • 1 tsp petroleum jelly
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 drop of argan oil
  • 1 drop of peppermint oil (optional for fresh breath!)

Mix the sugar into the petroleum jelly then add in the drops of argan oil and peppermint oil. This can all be done in your hand. Apply it to your lips in a circular motion using your index finger. Rinse or let the ingredients soak in.

The Balm Stainiac in Beauty Queen is a sheer berry pink lip and cheek tint. One product that does double duty is a must have for quick looks and on the go touch ups. This lip stain is different from others because it’s a water-based gel tint that doesn’t streak. This formula takes longer to dry, which means you have more time to smudge and blend the stain in for a streak free look.

Beauty Queen gives your lips a subtle hint of color. The color looks very natural both on my lips and on my cheeks. The formula feels nice and has almost a cooling sensation because it’s a gel. The applicator glides on smoothly and evenly. This stain is scent free and not sticky. Lip gloss can be applied over it for added shine.

Clinique Chubby Stick is a tinted moisturizing lip balm. It’s formulated with mango and shea butter to help repair dry chapped lips. The big pencil shape makes it easy to apply and you never need to sharpen it. All you have to do is twist the bottom. The chubby sticks add a hint of subtle color with minimal shine. To add shine, finish with a clear gloss.

Mega Melon is a bronzy peachy pink with a slight shimmer. You really have to layer it on to get a deeper color. You use it by lining your lips first, then coloring them in. You could also just use it as a lip liner and pair it up with a lipstick. This lip balm is not sticky and leaves your lips feeling soft. It won’t last all day, but it has an average lasting power.
