This mask is a must have for women with oily skin. The DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask has a blend of sulfur (10%), eucalyptus oil, aloe vera gel, bentonite and kaolin clays that help unclog pores and control oil production.

What These Ingredients Do!

The sulfur helps absorb excess oil from your face. The aloe vera helps soothe the skin and the eucalyptus oil is an anti-inflammatory which aids in healing breakouts. Bentonite clay absorbs toxins and impurities from the body. Kaolin clay is a common ingredient found in skin care and beauty products. It also absorbs impurities but without striping natural oils. This clay promotes circulation and exfoliates the skin.

Weekly use is recommended. After cleansing skin apply a thin layer and allow the mask to dry for at least five to ten minutes. You can also use this on your back and/or chest area. Once the mask dries, rinse it off. I suggest applying an oil free moisturizer afterwards.

I prefer to use it as an overnight spot treatment whenever I have a pimple. I use this mask mostly in the summer because there are days that I wake up with a lot of shine on my face. I will warn you though, this product does not have a long shelf life! Due to the nature of this product; if you don’t use, it will dry up in the container. It happened to me since I only used it occasionally. I wish they sold this in a travel size, I hate letting things go to waste!

Summer’s almost here so that means we need to super charge our sun protection regimen. MDSolarSciences SPF 50+ Ultra Mineral Screen Gel is great for those who have oily skin, acne, or for those who don’t like heavy sunscreens. It is also recommended for adults and children by the Skin Cancer Foundation, a major plus! Their formula is suitable for everyday use and it offers high SPF 50+ broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection.

I love the feel of this product, it absorbs easily into my skin and it does not leave my face feeling greasy. This is very surprising since it has such a high level of sun protection! My only complaint is that this sunscreen does leave a slight white cast on my face. This shouldn’t be an issue for those who have a lighter skin color. I wouldn’t recommend it for use under foundation, simply because it does leave a white sheen. Like I said it’s very minimal, so I still plan to use it at the beach or on non-makeup days. I should have ordered the tinted version instead. I will definitely consider it once this bottle finishes.

All in all, MDSolar Sciences is a great brand and offers a great product that’s water-resistant and non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog pores).
