These are the last six ingredients on the list. Some of these may seem like a stretch but many beauty brands include these in their products. Brands like Murad and Eucerin have some of these ingredients listed on their bottles.
Urea is an organic compound that helps heal dry skin by removing the a top layer of dead skin cells.
Vitamins are vital nutrients that help maintain healthy bodily functions. Many vitamins such as A,C,E, and D promote healthy skin.
Water is essential and helps keep the body hydrated. It’s also used to help formulate products and helps the skin absorb ingredients.
Xanthan is a sugar based polymer used in skincare to bind and stabilize ingredients.
Wild Yams contain vitamins and nutrients that are beneficial to skin. Yam extract helps improve skin’s elasticity.
Zinc Oxide is a mineral found in sunscreens that protects skin from UVA and UVB rays.
Bobbi Brown has finally announced the launch of their new BB cream. It’s about time BB had a BB cream, it’s so fitting! Bobbi Brown’s BB Cream SPF 35 promises to be the all in-one beauty product we’ve been waiting for. It’s designed to moisturize, control oil, even out skin tone, and even combats wrinkles. It’s loaded with antioxidants and leaves your skin looking radiant. It comes in 5 shades and is easy to use, wear it alone or under your foundation for a super polished look.
New from L’Oréal, Sublime Sun Liquid Silk Sunshield Face SPF 50+ is an advanced sunscreen that offers great protection in a light formula. It’s formulated with vitamin E and white grape seed to help maintain youthful looking skin.
This has become one of my favorite sunscreens. It goes on virtually invisible, leaving no white sheen behind. It’s not a lotion like the usual SPFs in the market, it’s a liquid that absorbs quickly into your skin. You have to shake the bottle before each use. According to the label; it’s ultra water and sweat resistant, oil-free, and non-pore clogging. It is also approved by the Skin Cancer Foundation. I think this sunscreen is better than MDSolarSciences SPF 50 Mineral Screen Gel, it’s lighter and invisible. The SPF lotion spray is pretty nice too!
I was only able to try this product out for two days. On the morning of the third day, I woke up and I had breakouts all over my forehead. I immediately scanned through the ingredient lists and saw that this product is not oil-free and has a combination of five different oils in it including; macadamia, hazel and cucumber oils. So this product may be great for dry skin, but it is definitely not intended for oily skin.
This moisturizer is light weight and blends in easily while absorbing quickly. It has a light floral scent that tries to mask the scent of the SPF, which is nice. It seems like a promising product and I like the fact that you can buy the sample size to test it out first before committing to the regular size. The directions say to use it both in the morning and at night. I don’t like to use SPF products to bed, so I would have preferred to see this product packaged as a daytime use only and the Advanced Wrinkle Cream as their nighttime product.
Promised Results: 45% reduction in the appearance of wrinkles in 8 weeks. (Individual results may vary)
Avon MagiX Face Perfector is a clear face primer. It helps control shine and minimizes pores and fine lines. It’s formulated with SPF 20 which is a huge plus for me. It is a gel-powder formula that smoothly glides onto your skin and leaves a light powder scent. It’s patent-pending Optix Light-Diffusing Technology offer invisible coverage by reflecting light to hide the look of pores.
I have been a devoted customer and I am on my third tube. I like how it gives me higher SPF than my foundation and how it just makes my skin smooth and even. It preps my skin so that my foundation goes on evenly and stays put for a longer time. Since I have combo skin, I sometimes opt for this instead of my moisturizer on hot summer days. It does not leave a white sheen on my skin like most SPFs do and I think that’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back to it.
I invite you to shop online with my Avon Representative, she’s the best!
